The emblem of yeahathgodsaid.com: the serpent's question pinned by the sword of the written Word

About this site.

“...it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude 3

Why this site exists

The first recorded words of the enemy of your soul are a question about the words of God. Everything this site documents, the version industry, the manuscript shell game, the seminary drift, the prosperity racket, the tyranny of feelings, the spirit peddlers, and the lab-coat priesthood, is that one question in seven costumes. yeahathgodsaid.com exists to pull the costume off, front by front, and to answer the question the way the Lord Jesus Christ answered it: it is written.

Why the King James Bible

Because God promised to preserve his words, not merely his ideas (Psalm 12:6–7), and a promise kept must exist somewhere you can hold it. For the English-speaking world, the evidence of this site points to one Book: translated from the preserved Hebrew and Greek by the most formidable translation body ever assembled, refined through seven great English Bibles, settled for over 250 years, owned by no corporation, revised by no committee, and signed in its own arithmetic. Every claim behind that sentence is documented on this site, and none of it is asked to be taken on faith in me. Check everything. That is the house rule here.

Who is behind it

My name is Antony Reed. I am a believer, a content creator, and the builder of this site. I am not a seminary product, which, if you have read Front III, you will understand I no longer list as a deficiency.

My testimony

I was raised on the fundamentals, a Baptist upbringing and a King James Bible, but not in a storybook home. My mother has schizophrenia. It broke over her two weeks after I was born, and for the rest of her life it returned every year or two, without warning and without mercy. My parents divorced when I was one, and I grew up a latchkey kid who learned to read people before he could read books. I could tell one of her episodes was coming before she could, before anyone else in the room could, by a change in her eating, her sleep, the cast of her face. I learned to care for her when her own mind turned against her, and years later I was the one who found that plain food and the right nutrition could bring her back further than anything else had. We grew close at the end. She went home in 2021, and I expect to see her again. I tell you this because everything I would later study about how a person can be utterly certain of something that is not there, I learned first at home, in love, long before I read it in any book.

The men of my father's line, my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, were all Masons, and when my turn came I followed them into the lodge, drawn to the history and the symbolic depth. I was in for less than a year, but a busy year: I took the three Blue Lodge degrees, was being groomed for the officers' line, and then joined the Scottish Rite in Minnesota, which had begun running the 4th through 32nd degrees in a single day's “Class.” I received the 32nd degree on May 3rd, 2003. So technically I am, or was, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. What took me out was not scandal but honesty: I had gone deep into Ayn Rand and her Objectivism, the belief in God required of a Mason was gone, and I would not pretend otherwise. So I left.

Later in life I trained and certified as a hypnotist and NLP master practitioner, and I came to understand how experience is manufactured: how commitment, suggestion, lighting, and language produce feelings that people will swear are real. Keep that in mind when you read Front V of this site. When I tell you a fog machine and a key change are not the presence of God, I am not guessing.

What broke me was not a feeling. I would not have trusted a feeling; I knew too well how they are made. But something in me had already begun to soften. For a while I had been quietly opening, listening where I once would have scoffed, even inviting God, if he was real, to reach me. Then I watched the testimony of David Wood, a former atheist and diagnosed psychopath who now gives his life to drawing Muslims out of Islam and to Christ, and it put the final crack in my atheist armor. I still was not hunting for proof, and I was not looking for numbers, but the door was open just enough.

And through it came the whole of it, in one video: not a curiosity buried in the text but the total of the entire Book. Count everything it takes to print a King James Bible, every word of the finished text and every number that orders it, from the five words of the title to the last verse in Revelation, and the sum is exactly seven to the seventh power, 823,543. The Book counting itself, whole, to the last jot and tittle, and landing on the very number God has marked completion with from Genesis onward. It is documented on the Sevens page of this site. I am a pattern-seeker to the bone, analytical, wired to take a thing apart to see what holds it together. I know patterns. I know the limits of men. I know what the seven means in Scripture. So when I saw it, I did not have to reason my way anywhere. The sheer impossibility of it, a scale and a precision that random chance cannot reach and no man alive could build, resolving only in the settled text that reached its final form long after the translators were dead, broke me in an instant. And it was not my mind conceding an argument. It was the Holy Spirit taking hold of my heart through the one thing my mind could not explain away. Complete and utter acceptance, and belief, in the blink of an eye. Every other pattern I found came afterward, and there are many, layered on top like prize after prize for a lottery already won. The eyewitness testimony of the apostles and the archaeology that confirms the history only settled in daylight what that one moment had shown me in a flash.

So I came full circle. The fundamentals I was raised on were not so far off after all, and the Book I came back to was the one I started with. I built this site because every front on it is personal to me: I believed the counterfeit authorities, I sat in the lodge, I chased the philosophy of men, and I know from the inside how manufactured experience works. It is written turned out to be the answer all along.

If you are where I was, hear him out

I am not asking you to believe me. Nobody asked me to hear David Wood; the YouTube algorithm set his testimony in front of me, and I chose to give a stranger a hearing. I am asking you to make the same choice. David Wood was an atheist to the bone and a diagnosed psychopath who took a hammer to his own father, and God met him in a jail cell and made him new. Watch his own account before you decide there is nothing here. It cost me nothing to listen, and it changed everything.
